The federation is an agreement between cooperative places called Labs. The first one sits on Quinta da Fornalha. The Charter is the document every Lab signs, so each Lab holds to the same discipline. Places that sign the Charter are Members of the federation; the people who live and work there carry the Lab. People who support the work from outside are Friends. The Council is where decisions get taken, by consent. More than that does not need saying here.A federation é um acordo entre lugares cooperativos a que chamamos Labs.
