When a Lab's work is funded, the report comes out of what the Lab already records. ledger reads anonymised counts from chart, enters them into the report mechanically, and holds the narrative for review before anything is published. Sixteen things matter for a Lab to function: how decisions are taken, how land is held, how new people enter, how learning is shared, and twelve more. It is messy. It rubs. It asks for maturity. The federation is in formation: the Charter is written and signed today by one Lab, with conversations with others under way; the shared dataset is still small, and the five instruments are at different stages.É imperfeito. Council decisions can go against any one person's preference, including the founder's. A group that becomes a Lab accepts that its own preference can be the one a decision goes against. The exit side is written into the Charter: any Lab may leave with thirty days' notice, takes its data with it, and pays no exit fee. The federation is not run from a single centre. That is the design, not a temporary feature.As Council decisions podem ir contra a preferência de qualquer pessoa, incluindo a do fundador.
