Syntonic
The vibe of the federation
Every place has a frequency. Quinta da Fornalha in the early morning, before anyone is awake, sounds like birds and wind and the particular silence of soil that is being asked to come back to life. We wanted a way to share that. Syntonic is the attempt.
We spend a lot of time talking to each other here. About the land, about governance, about what made someone leave a city and plant their hands in foreign soil. About what breaks in a community and what holds. These conversations happen anyway. The podcast is just us deciding to record them. Not interviews. Not panels. Two people who know each other, talking honestly about something they are actually living through.
First three episodes in production. Coming 2026.
Floris plays a set at sunrise from the food forest. The birds don't stop for the music. The music doesn't stop for the birds. That is the point. Each session is recorded at a specific spot on the land: the food forest at dawn, the amphitheatre at dusk, the open field at night. The place is part of the sound. You cannot make this music somewhere else.

Short films. Three to ten minutes. A tiny house frame going up. Hands testing soil. A meeting where something shifts. We are not trying to make it look better than it is. We are trying to show what it actually is.

We hosted the Digeritania Didgeridoo Festival in October. We gather with neighbours from Lago da Colina. These things happen because people want to be together, not because we planned a programme.
