Federation work happens because this kind of work needs to be done. That it touches what administrators, Labs, entrepreneurs, citizens and researchers care about in different ways is consequence, not goal.
Anyone who comes here to get something usually does not find what they are looking for. Anyone who comes to see whether something resonates with what they themselves carry sees, of its own accord, where the work meets their own work.

A trail that comes out of the work itself
Federation work is registered as it happens, in at https://lens.syfers.eu. Every decision keeps its trail: who proposed, what changed, who agreed, who objected. There is no reporting layer bolted on for donors. What you read is what actually happened.
Because the record is generated from the practice, not narrated back over it, verification is straightforward. Where support went, what it produced, what shifted, what did not: this can be followed without asking anyone to write a report first.
Concrete routes
Support that fits as it comes
Two routes exist. Friends carry the recurring costs of running Labs, with unrestricted contributions handled at /support. Larger programme partnerships, restricted grants and co-funded applications go through /partners, where federation acts as an operational partner rather than a grantee.
For funders inside ORRI-aligned frameworks (Algarve 2030, Portugal 2030, Horizon Europe), federation work fits cleanly. For funders outside such frameworks, the same trail is available and just as readable.
Honest limit
What federation does not do for funders
Federation is not a fundraising vehicle and does not tailor its work to what would be easier to fund. The work happens because it needs to happen, not because a call opened. Anyone looking for a fund that shapes its practice around donor preferences will find a better fit elsewhere.
There is no separate impact-reporting product. The record is the report. That works well for funders who read the work; it will feel thin to funders who expect a curated dashboard.
Federation work happens on its own. What is readable here per role describes how that work relates to different perspectives, not what federation promises anyone.
